“…weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning”
Went to bed crying, woke up smiling!
Felt like the world was on top of me last night, today I feel on top of the world.
Sleep is a cure-all yall. :)
Last week I went to my friend’s condo’s pool to hang with some friends. I took off my MK watch and put it in my purse before I hopped in the pool. While I was in the pool one of my friends decided to move all of our belongings to a different area and my watch fell out without notice. I realized I didn’t have my watch a few hours later when I got home and I was heartbroken (this may seem a little dramatic but I am really attached to this watch). The next morning my friend re-traced his steps and spoke with the office in hopes of finding my watch but he had no luck! He offered to buy me a new watch but this sounded ridiculous considering that 1) it was unintentionally done on his part 2) the watch was a gift so another watch wouldn’t be good enough. I was already en route to the mountains early the next morning for the weekend so for 3 days I was convinced my watch was gone, and in turn I was ‘depressed’.
When I got back from the mountains I stopped by my friend’s condo and went up to the bar by the pool and asked the bartenders if anyone had found my watch and to my surprise one of the bartenders had! He said he found it on a beach chair a few days ago and was wondering when someone would come in to claim it. I was SHOCKED; I was sure someone would have pawned it or something of that sort had they found it but NO, some people have the decency to do good things and I’m lucky that my watch fell into the hands of one of those people :) .
Good people DO exist.
